We service a wide range of home appliances, including refrigerators, ice makers, washing machines, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers — covering most major brands.

In most cases, we offer same-day or next-day appointments. We understand a broken appliance can’t wait — we work around your schedule to get there fast.

This usually points to one of three things: dirty condenser coils restricting airflow, a failing evaporator fan not circulating cold air properly, or a defrost system malfunction causing ice buildup on the evaporator. All are diagnosable in a single visit and repairable without replacing the unit.

First, make sure the ice maker arm is in the down position and the unit is set to the correct temperature (0°F / -18°C). If everything looks right but it’s still not producing ice, it’s time to call — the issue is most likely internal and requires a proper diagnosis.

This is typically caused by a failing temperature sensor sending incorrect readings to the control board, causing the oven to shut down as a safety measure. It can also be a faulty control board itself. Both are diagnosable and repairable without replacing the appliance.

The most common cause is a burnt-out heating element or a blown thermal fuse. Both are inexpensive parts and straightforward to replace — usually fixed in a single visit.

Our service call fee is $85, which covers the diagnostic visit. If you move forward with the repair, that $85 is credited toward the total cost — so you’re not paying extra just to have someone take a look.
